Does anyone know who sells page protectors that are the exact same size as the ones that come with the WDW 2003 post-bound scrapbook?

When I called the mail order number from my receipt, the guy acted like he had never heard of them and tried to sell me some kit with papers, etc. Apparently they don't sell refills for their albums. I told him they'd make a fortune if they did!

If Micheals or Hobby Lobby sell something similar, that would be good too. I normally use K&Co. books and those pages are too wide for this book, so I'm not sure what else is good. The plastic seems like it is a lot thicker than most. I could just take these pages out and put in all new ones, but I hate to waste 15 page protectors. And they have to all be the same...

Anyway...Thanks for your help! I get my pictures back tomorrow and I'll be scrappin' soon thereafter. ~Stacy

Ack!! This is a problem everyone seems to have. I think they'd sell more books because I know people are NOT buying the albums for this very reason!!

Can you go to your LSS with your book and see if any of the page protectors would work?

Good luck and keep us posted. I'd love to buy these books for my boys, but hesitate because of the limited number of page protectors and the lack of availability of refills!!

from last years nightmare!
I would call back and try again -
once I got a REALLY nice lady that sent me another album no charge because they didn't have refills -
but she sent me the wrong album so it didn't do me much good! I would do it now as they run out of the albums come November (that is what happened to me - she sent the other one cuz they ran out of the one I needed!)
Try www.mousememories.com she usually has them or knows where to get them!

Has anyone used other 12 x 12 page protectors for these albums? I'm wondering because I bought the Tinkerbell album in August and I really don't care for those thick page protectors--makes it harder to see the pages I've worked so hard on LOL! The pioneer refills are good and relatively inexpensive but before I replace them wanted to know if anyone has successfully done this. Thanks!!

It's been a while since I had originally posted this, but I have an answer now and thought someone might be interested.

I took a page protector into my Hobby Lobby and measured up for the same size and found a good deal on a Hobby Lobby brand package of 25 for 7.99. I waited until they went on sale for 1/2 off and bought them for $4. I think they are also similar to the Generations ones.

In order to make the book lay flat, you have to take out the big pocket thing that holds the paper that comes with it. This gives enough room on the posts for the 25 pages and I think maybe a few more.

Next sale I'm going back for more since I almost have these full. I don't think it would hold a whole extra pack of 25 since the spine doesn't expand. I have been trying to keep my pages somewhat flat so I can get more in my book. I doubt that if you are a lumpy scrapper that you could do more than the 25. If I have to, I'll have to figure out how to make the spine bigger by adding paper or something. I have 600 photos and I'm determined to keep them in one album.

If there is anyone who would want to swap 15 page protectors for something, please let me know. I don't know if anyone would really want them as they do change the color of your paper, but if you do, please let me know what you might have to swap.

I have not personally bought anything from this place so I can't recommend them, but at www.collectedmemories.com they have the Disney refills. They even have the ones that fit the 2002 odd sized books. I read about them on another scrapbooking thread somewhere and the lady had bought them and said they were perfect. When you get to the home page, click on Disney and go to the bottom of the page and you will find the refills and page protectors (sold together). Hope this helps someone else. I still need to order the 2002 refill for myself.
