Has anyone ever packed using those "amazing space bags" that you use with the vacuum cleaner? This seems like a great idea, but how do you repack for the trip home. We are flying, so whatever fits in the suitcase on the way down, has to fit on the way back (plus souvenirs!).

We are staying at BWV, so I think we will have an upright vacuum. I don't want to buy the bags if this won't work. Any ideas?

Thanks.

There are special packing bags that don't require a vacuum, you just roll the bag up to squeeze the air out - they work great especially in cooler weather for sweatshirts and sweaters.

We always carry an extra duffle packed into a suitcase so we have extra baggage to carry stuff back.

There's quite a bit of information on this subject on a thread called "vacuum sealed bags?"

Hope this helps!!! :smooth:
