So far I've made several different packing lists: list for what to bring in my carry-on, list of clothes and toiletries, list for what to take to the parks (Who, me, obsessive?:lmao:)

I think I've thought of everything that I'll need but if any of you veterans have a good list to share I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!:flower3:

Nah you're not obsessive just excited like the rest of us :hourglass okay I don't know what's on your list but the BIGGEST thing I would never go without is zip-lock bags, perfect for camera and tickets, etc on water rides and if you can find one of those water-proof plastic things you can wear around your neck even better.

The less you carry into the parks the better and if you can find see through pouches (or once again the ziplock baggies) to keep things in your back-pack or whatever you will cut your time in security at the entrances. What else ?? Depends on alot of things, staying on-property? Off? I have been doing Disney on the cheap for over 2 decades, I rarely buy food in the parks, bring it in (they really don't care) or eat outside.

I carry water in and when they're gone I will ask for a glass of ice water anywhere and have never been refused (perfect for something like "Crystal Light to Go" ) Much rather save $$ for a tour, or horseback riding (contrary to popular opinion here that is NOT a horse pictured below that I travel with :lmao: ) or a character meal. Need anything else ? give a shout when are you going?,

Thanks for the tips! Dh and I are still debating whether it's easier to lug around our own water bottles or risk waiting in a line-up to get a cup of water.

I've read a few posts about plastic thingies that go around your neck to hold passes, money, etc. but don't people worry about getting strangled if the lanyard gets caught on anything? Am I paranoid or having I been in the primary school system too long?;)

By the way, what a cute pup! We have a 100+lb yellow lab that everyone's afraid of, but Murphy's just the biggest baby ever!:dogdance:

Well thanks for the compliment dear Lady says Dillon ;) I am an English Pointer.73 lbs.well I WAS until all the AKC members decided to drop the "English" and rename us Short-Haired Pointers:lmao: now here's my girl Ruthie:

Hi Jackie!

As far as the "plastic thingie" :thumbsup2 how could I forget to mention that ?? Well I will tell you how, it's because I wear them ALL the time (I HATE) to carry a purse because I end up carrying So much junk in there I can never find anything (I refer to the bottom of it as the Black Whole of Calcutta .....where is everything I need when I need it :confused3 )

I carry my driver's license, picture ID for my job and a $10. bill...or whatever fits nicely in there too.At WDW I carry my AP, license, and spare $$. The thing is called a lanyard (you can find really nice ones on eBaywith Disney characters) but really cheap ones in Wal~Mart stationary section. They sell the plastic ID holders seperately (I just bought it there and I think it was like $3 for a pkg of 12..in the retail stores they are called Badge Holders.

As far as strangling yourselves, they CAN get caught ...I learned my lesson bending down over a dog crate and then standing up & :scared1: it was stuck in the bars....learn from my lesson, just tuck it down into the inside of your shirt & it's fine, then easily pull it out when you need something.

I am Soooo counting the days...bet you are too :cheer2:
