Packing List for Land/Sea in December

My OCD is kicking in, I am already trying to put together my packing list for my December 16 Land/Sea vacation with DH and DD.

Any ideas? I don't want to take to much but I also don't want to get down there and not have enough.

The way I pack............Pack everything you think you need then....half half out!!!!

I am not an expert, by far, about packing. However, from things I've seen on these boards and read elsewhere, try the mix and match thing. Basically, find 2 or 3 tops that go with a pair of pants or whatever else. Do that 2 or 3 times and voila, you've minimized the clothes you have to pack. Of course, if you want to do Palo, then you will have to have a seperate sets of clothes for that restaurant. A word to the wise, even though I've never had to do it, do your laundry while at WDW. I have heard that the laundries on board ship get packed. When you near the end of your land part of the trip, find the laundry room at the hotel you're staying. Just a suggestion!!!

Layers!!

Florida in December can be quite chilly at times (50's). Then again, it can also be hot (80's). The key will be to take layers.

For instance, a sweater or sweatshirt (maybe 2) and a medium jacket should suffice for possible cold temperatures. Two pair of jeans work well for colder and warmer temps (or in the evenings/land excursions).

Otherwise, I would suggest normal packing stuff. T-shirts or polo type shirts are great for either sex. Two-three pairs of shorts also hedge against warmer temps and do not take up as much room. Then simply pack for the cruise.


I guess another way to look at it would be to pack for the cruise/Caribbean (warm weather items), and add a pair (or 2) of extra jeans, a sweater/sweatshirt (or 2) and also bring a medium jacket in case it gets cold for the land portion.

Just a couple thoughts/ideas. Have fun on the trip!!
