Does anyone have an idea on what we should pack clothing wise in February? Remember we are thick blooded Northeast Ohioans? Thanks for your help.

subscribing...same questions from a Buckeye from the southwestern corner who has not been to WDW in Feb in such a long time I can't remember what ther weather was like.

Hard to say honestly! We went last February and it was cold! We are from NW Ohio so of course it was nicer then the cold snowy weather we had left! I know for a fact on Feb. 20 we were at Magic Kingdom for my daughters 2nd birthday and it was 49!!!!!!! Yes, 49! Thank goodness it was sunny so it wasnt' so bad! The rest of the week was in the 50's or 60's. I think towards the end of the trip it did make it to 70 exactly! I remember b/c the kids got their swimsuits on and went swimming! :-) My son and dh wore shorts during the trip, my two dd and I wore capri's most of the week. Short sleeve tops and we had jackets or hoodies that we could take off if we got to hot. The weather was sunny all week which was nice.

We are going again on Feb. 17 for 8 days. I really have my fingers crossed that the weather is a tad warmer for us! I would like the 70's or low 80's. :)

2 years ago we went end of Feb/Beg March and it was also chilly. I am a "thick blooded" Canadian used to -40 and it was still chilly.
I was so excited to use the pool and didn't. I laid out for about an hour or two one time but it was not that nice.

We have been to Disney in Feb. a few times and the weather can vary greatly. Usually, the weather is pretty decent 60's -70' during the day 40's -50's at night. However, we have had very early mornings that there was some frost on the car windows. I also want to mention that my kids have always used the pool during our winter trips because outdoor swimming is a novelty for them in the winter. Disneys pools are all heated but, getting out at night can be chilly. We have also used the water parks 1 day for each of our past 3 winter visits.

We are planning another trip this Feb. and I am going to pack clothes for both kinds of weather (shorts & tees, jeans & sweatshirts). It's also a good idea to throw a pair of gloves into the suitcase just in case.

oh, that sounds cold! (so cal) we'll be the ones in ski jackets.

40s-50s is freeeezing to us!

We have gone in February for the past four years. We are from Maine and we usually wear shorts and t-shirts and a wind breaker type jackets. Usually by mid-morning we take off our wind breakers. We always go swimming. That being said, last year, I was cold. I wore jeans and a t-shirt most days. My DH still wore shorts. I would have my kids wear lightweight jogging pants and I would pack lightweight shorts in our backpack. They changed into shorts by midday most days but they would put the long pants back on when the sun went down. Because people on these boards suggested it, I always pack hats and small pairs of knit gloves in case it got cold. I thought people were crazy to suggest that but I still packed them last year and believe it or not, we broke them out for the parades and fire works one night. So, I guess you should be prepared for all types of weather.

Well I went in Feb last year and I'm from Rhode Island so I'm used to the cold. It was in the 60's during the day and 50's at night. I was fine in shorts or capris and a t-shirt during the day most of the time, but I always had a sweatshirt with me. I usually had it on at night. It was about 63 one day and we kept seeing people from South America wearing winter coats, scarves, gloves, and hats while we were walking around in shorts :lmao:

We were down in 07 and it got down to the low 30s. Think layers, I like full zipper jackets as they are more controllable for heat in/out.

I am headed down late feb will have gortex jacket and fleece, combine with long sleeve shirt and I am good.

Take it from an experienced mid-Feb Disney vacationer who is from Elyria Ohio. Pack warm clothes it can be cold in mid - Feb. If you don't you will be looking for the nearest WalMart for warmer clothes.

I even pack a pair of gloves usually those stretchy kind. If you have any plans to watch fireworks you will be glad you followed my advise.
I have had people comment about my gloves and ear muffs and wanted to know where I got them -I reply with, "from my luggage".
Turtle necks would be a good option too.

Two years ago we awoke to freezing temps. We passed by a section of the resort where the sprinklers were not shut off and everything was covered in ice. Disney is not exempt from the cold temps.
