Packing for Thanksgiving

I'm bringing shorts, pants and sweatshirts. It looks like its going to be cold at night

We're packing shorts, jeans, short sleeved shirts, long sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, jackets (coats) and swimsuits! ;) You've got to bring some of everything when you go to WDW at this time of the year!

I'm packing shorts, capris, jeans, a couple of long sleeves t-shirts and a couple of sweats since it looks like it will be in the 50s in the evenings. Since we're doing a huge family reunion for Thanksgving I have dresses for my DDs.

We leave in less than 48 hours

I have packed and repacked..

but it looks like shorts may be out, I only did one pair of shorts.

jeans
pants
short and long sleeved shirts
light jackets
coats

I'm leaving my shorts at home too, but I think my DD is packing a pair for each of my DGDs. :cold: I'm bringing jeans, khakis, a couple Ts (prolly buy more there), long sleeve shirts, bathing suit (just in case we go to the hot tub) zip up hooded sweatshirts, CUDDLE DUDS, gloves, hats, scarves & coats.

I've gone the past two Februarys and the temps were about what they're predicting for Thanksgiving. 60/70s during the day and 40/50s at night. Let me tell ya, it feels COLD at night around the water like for Illuminations, transportation boats, and especially up on that hill for Fantasmic. Dress warm for the evenings!

Looks like a cool week if your going prior to TG day. Of course it depends on how far North your coming from :sunny: Tues and Weds look a bit on the cool side with some wind. We are not arriving until Friday evening and it looks like it will improve a little after we arrive. I hope they will up the temps a little more as we get closer as i like warm weather, I hate winter in the frozen tundra. Everyone have fun cya there.

I have packed and repacked 4 times!!!! I have shorts and t's, jeans, long shirts for DD, fleeces, etc... has been 16 this week here in the am.... The 50's won;t seem too bad, but I am neurotic we will either be too hot or too cold... Oh yes, did I mention swimsuits?

dont sound like a vaction if your neurotic. I would plan to wear a t shirt over a fleece then if it warms up take the fleece off. Thats how we do it here in the cold isnt it. Besides coming from that cold it will be all good. You sound like me, dwelling too much on the little things. Go have fun. Was Sarah born in 73 or MOM either way Id like to be 9 years younger. :rotfl:

You all might want to throw in a pair of shorts, as it will be in the low 70's (Tuesday and Wednesday it will be in the 60's), but it will be chilly in the morning and evening.

I'll be down Friday and I'm packing shorts, T-shirts and then a couple of pants and a couple of long sleeves (like what I wear down there). I'm bringing my bathsuit of course and sandals and one pair of closed shoes in case it's really cold.

Coming from MA, I think the weather down there will feel great but we'll be prepared for anything!!

We normally take it all. One year they had an unpredicted cold spell that lasted one day. It went from high 70s to mid 30s and then back up in the high 70s the next day.

After getting caught in that, we go prepared.

We will take a few pairs of shorts (DH more than I), long pants, tee shirts and sweatshirts. A few turtlenecks (esp for MVMCP), coat and gloves.

The thing is it will be cool in the AM and the PM, but inbetween you don't need as many clothes.

We live here, and we are going this week for Thanksgiving. We are packing some shorts, sweatshirts, long sleeve t-shirts and pants. We'll wear the sweatshirts with the shorts, and if it warms up we take off the sweatshirt and tie it around our waists. At nights, if it is predicted to be cold, we'll just wear the pants/shirts combo.

There can be a drastic difference in how the weather feels in the afternoons compared with nights. During a cold snap of say highs in the 50-60's, when the sun sets, the temps drop. But during the day, the sun can heat up your car hot enough to run the air.

See everyone there! :wave2:

We're packing everything- shorts, jeans, t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, fleeces...and we will also have our winter coats with us. We won't need them at Disney, but it is supposed to snow where we live while we are gone, and we're going to need them as soon as we get off the plane!

Everything as everyone else said, I will either overpack or underpack I do it all the time.
