A little off topic but had to quickly share.

Any one who knows me on this board knows I bring as much as possible for the house.
15 peices on the plane 13 pcs. of luggage, 2 boxes
each a personal item purse, fanny pack, small cold pack for husband diabetic
each a carry on back pack, camers and camcorder bag

We are leaving in about 2 hours.
I was down stairs finishing up the last of the laundry.
The phone rings I yell up stairs for some one to answer it.
Apparently it was no where to be found and my DD 6 yells down stairs
Mom did you pack it?
gotta love that

CHEER off to Florida! Have a GREAT trip Deb!

I've spent the last 3 hours trying to find an electrician to come out to our home today... the circuit breaker in the great room keeps tripping...something more major than our MC can fix...need a pro. Finally found one, expensive, but they'll be there today...whew.

I know this is getting way OT, but we've had trouble with tripping circuits in 2 different places we've stayed. A town home in Windsor Palms and a town home in Emerald Island. What is it with the FL electrical wiring?! We couldn't find the breaker box in one home and had to call the MC. (It was hidden behind a picture!)

Ours is "hidden" behind a picture too, since they put the breaker box (and it's kind of ugly) right in the great room. We put a little label on the picture saying "breaker box is behind here" though.

We think the breaker itself went bad...won't know for sure until the electrician shows up later on though. I would imagine that Florida has lots more electrical issues in general than other states since it's the lightning capital of the US if not the world.

The company I work for has an office down there and we have power issues all the time! I invested in very expensive surge protectors and the like for all of our TVs and electronics in our homes for this very reason, I didn't want a 50" plasma TV frying out the next time there's a bad electrical storm in the area.

Interestingly, the rides and attractions at WDW get hit by lightning almost weekly, there's lightning rods built all over Expedition Everest into the decorations for instance, and the ride regularly closes for inspections after it gets hit, for instance! I was reading some threads about this very topic on another Disney board, interesting stuff!

I know if I owned it, I would never want to leave!

OMG Deb, you travel with more stuff than we do. I thought we were bad enough with 7 pieces of luggage for the 4 of us!

Hope one day we will be at EI at the same time !

I know I do..hehe..we keep saying our place there is nicer than our "real" home!! (It is!) LOL

Plus, who wouldn't want to live close to WDW!! ??

Too bad I can't get a decent job there...LOL! Tough to make decent money working for the mouse!
