This is the first time traveling with DD8months, and I'm just trying to get a rough idea so I don't overpack or underpack way too much. How many diapers and wipes do you pack for a week long trip? How about changes of clothing? Do you think one bottle of sunblock is enough for her for the week?

Also, what and how much of each do you take into the parks in your diaper bag each day? I am an overpacker, so I'm trying to get an idea of what most others pack. Thank you!!

I pack 2 outfits per day, and one set of PJs for every 2 nights. However, I figure that having to do a load of wash because she ran out of clothes isn't the end of the world. If it was - I'd probably do 2.5 outfits per day and one set of PJs per night. An 8oz bottle of sunscreen should be plenty for a week. I kept an eye on how many diapers we usually used in a day (at 17 months, that was 6) and brought that many per day, plus about a dozen extras. I had leftover, because with the heat she just didn't wet as many diapers. I just took a full tub of wipes because that's more than a week's worth for us. I used it to refill my portable containers.

Into the parks I take:
snacks
a straw cup (DD never took to sippy cups) with extra bendy straws
a change of clothes (including socks)
a day's worth of diapers
a generous amount of wipes
an extra pair of shoes/sandals
a sling (doubles as a blanket, towel, extra outfit, baby leash, spot saver, stroller dryer and a million other handy things)
cash (for when I forget to restock the diaper bag and have *no* diapers)
glowsticks for dark rides/giving away
a raincoat/umbrella
our stroller (thought you could rent one) - when I was carrying the baby, everything else went in the stroller seat.

If your DD takes formula, make sure to bring plenty and empty bottles/etc.

We took dd at 7 months. I brought 2 outfits per day and one pj per night. I borught enough diapers and wipes for one 24 hour period and bought the rest at Target when we arrived. If you're renting a car or have a grocery stop this would be my personal preference.

At Target we purchased:

- a bottle brush and dish soap
-throw away bowls and spoons
-baby food
-formula
-diapers and wipes
-sunglasses (I broke mine on the plane...)
-sunscreen

I then left a note for housekeeping with all of the extra stuff bagged up offering it to a mousekeeper who needed it. I don't know if they were able to accept it, but I sure do hope so.

The bonus of going to Disney is that you can get just about anything you need. You will pay premium for it, but if it's just one bottle of sunscreen, or one extra sleeper, it's not a big deal. We wound up needing a warm weather outfit one day because it got downright hot. Low and behold, we ventured into a gift shop and purchased and adorable one piece for about $1000 :lmao: (or $25 - whatever!). At any rate, if you forget something don't fret - you can find it!

Have a fantastic trip and have the camera ready. Caroline's expressions were priceless and we had a great time seeing WDW through her eyes.
