We will be driving down this year. Sort of a YEAH there.

Now that the kids are teens, meaning they cost more to feed, I am considering packing something to help with breakfast in the room.

I have read about people packing everything from toaster ovens for pop tarts to cockpots for breakfast frittatas.

Has anyone out there ever packed an appliance for room cooking?

We get our own things to toast in the food courts. We always keep a cooler in the room so we had cream cheese for bagels, we would heat up things in the microwave for lunch, the ideas are endless. You will have your car to shop. You will save alot of money on food.

If you're staying on WDW property and do not have a room with a kitchen and/or kitchenette appliances are not allowed in the rooms, but there are toasters and microwaves available for use in the food courts.

You will probably hear several stories about how many appliances people have brought in the past, and how "they got away with it," but appliances are still not allowed in the rooms.
