Packet Pity Party, Oh The Shame!

DH and I too remain packetless. We moved this year so maybe that's causing the delay. I changed our mailing address on-line at the marathon website in September, but the changes could have been overlooked. Sending PD that we all get our packets this week.

I have been lurking this thread for days to make sure I am not the only one without my packet. I'm hoping that now that I have finally posted my packet will magically appear in the mail tomorrow!!

No packet and no answer for the email I sent to DIsney. I am so bummed.

I went to a party last night and all my friends were bragging about there numbers. I was a minor sensation since I have pratically memorized the corral placing. My so called friends were teasing me that DIsney remembers my threats to Mickey at mile 22 last year and I am now a "known threat".

My mailman is starting to feel sorry for me. He is going to call down to the forwarding center to see if there is a back up and let me know when he delivers today. I am off to get him a Christmas gift.

Guess what came in the mail today? My packet? Hey, I was just kiddin' earlier about not wanting my "stinkin'" packet. Trying reverse psychology, you know.

I am #33855!!! What does that mean really? There are nearly 34000 people signed up for the various events combined or do they really start with #1 or ??

Of course now dh is official shocked - he didnt realize he was in the first corral - he hasnt been able to train due to major work issues - and family He has run in marathons before - and had proof of time - I keep telling him not to worry - he'll be ON VACATION!!
