Im going to California for a visit with some family out there. We are going to DL for a day. The dates that im out there are OCT.8-19 How busy is it than? And how is the weather, will i need a jacket or can i wear shorts? Thanks for the info.

It shouldn't be crowded at all. The only day that would be a problem is Saturday. But as long as you avoid that, you shouldn't have any problems at all.

It typically begins to cool down from the summer in October. Still, days should be in the 70's and it probably won't get any colder than high 50's at night. Being in Southern California at that time of year, you probably won't need anything heavier than a light windbreaker (if even that).

Dont forget that Flicks Fun Fair opens around that time so California Adventure might have more people than usual.
Since they don't have early admission anymore my advise is to go right when it opens. There is always less people then. It starts to get busy about 11-12. We went last October and Friday night and Saturday were just as busy as the summer but Sunday was better and Monday was really empty.

I'm alos glad to hear October isn't too busy...we'll be visiting Knotts Saturday and DLand Sun- Tuesday!!!!! (10/12 being Saturday)
