Package VS. Room Only

We all ready have a room only reserved with the AAA discount for Dec. 8 thru Dec. 15 for POFQ.

However, I am curious whether the Room Only Codes might make this cheaper???!!!???!!!

And with the discounts on packages going on, would this be recommended?

I've always just used my AAA membership, but could that be the wrong way to go this time?

Please help!!!!

I'm not sure what package discounts are going on right now, but usually room-only is the cheapest option. AAA discounts can save you 10-20%. Check out this MouseSavers link.

I would suggest checking the WDW website. From the home page, click at the top on "Tickets and Reservations". Then click on "Special Offers" on the left menu. The room-only discounts are the first link on the next page.

From there, you can check availability and compare the room-only rate with your AAA rate. I found it helpful to be able to compare price differences for various resorts and determine if I received the best deal.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your "room only" thru AAA? We have a package booked, and the travel agent said I was getting a way better deal booking a package than a "room only" thru AAA... Just curious, because we will be there roughly the same time you are. Thank you!

The best package offer expired last week but the current one which may cover those dates is also very good, and should be way better than the AAA package rate. Unfortunately the disneyworld.com site is down again, seems to be down more than up.
