Package/ticket questions

Apparently, tickets have gotten even more complicated as MDE goes along. I have tried searching, but couldn't find answers to all my questions Hopefully I can make this brief lol.

We are doing a trip in November that involves myself and 2 daughters (12 and 8) going down on 16Nov, the 3rd daughter (18) arriving on the 19Nov, and then DH and 3 teen boys arriving on 20Nov for 3 nights. We are doing a 2 bedroom with DVC for the 20-23Nov portion, and are free dining eligible for the 16-20Nov portion. We also have 3 adult/1 child 5 day WPFM/hopper passes from UCT.

1. Can we put DD18 on the whole free dining portion, even though she arrives at the end of that part?
2. If the girls and I use the 5 day tickets, can we use those towards 8 day hopper tickets without WPFM, (assuming we go to a regular park first-and don't go to any waterparks-before upgrading)?
3. Can we use the package tickets from the girls and I for DH and the boys?
4. Will we still be able to book FPs 60 days in advance of the 20-23Nov portion for all 8 of us, since I assume the package tickets will still be tied to the girls and I on MDE, at least until check-in?
5. Will it matter that one ticket is a child ticket that will need to be used towards an adult ticket?

Is there anything else I'm not thinking of? Thanks!

1. I can't quite follow your description of what, where, who, and when. Sorry.
2. Yes.
3. & 4. Yes. (Remember that each of you can only make advanced FP+ reservations for the number of days worth of tickets
that each of you have before the trip.)
5. Nope.

Even before your questions I have one. You have booked DVC and have tickets you bought at UCT but you are getting free dining? Are you sure of this?

Her free dining is for nights before her DVC reservation. At least that's how I'm reading it.

From what I can figure, as long as you include her when you book the 16-20 portion of your trip, for the entire package, she can use just a few days of it. Disney won't care or track that she isn't using the package upon arrival. You'll have extra credits left, from the days she's not there, and you'll pay for her ticket for days she's not there but that's all I can think of. I don't think you can put her just on the last couple days of your trip without booking a 2nd reservation, which you wouldn't want to do with the ticket requirement.

We are looking at a stay at Pop Century with free dining for 16-20Nov for the ladies in our party (although 1 arrives later, I will still book her for the full stay). We will get 3 day hoppers with that package, which we will use for the guys on the 2nd portion of the trip, the DVC 2 bedroom from 20-23 Nov We would need to get the guys tickets anyway, so free dining providing us with tickets is a bonus Thanks!

Before you do anything you will have to stop at Guest Services outside the entrance to a park, or at DTD, and have them prioritize the tickets so you use the ones you intend to use. Don't trust that it knows which tickets you want to use. It's not hard to prioritize tickets but it does have to be done.
