Package Ticket Question

Fo the first time we are doing a room and tickets package. I've paid my $200 deposit for our October trip. If WDW ticket prices increase between now and our trip will our price for our package increase or are we "locked in" at our stated package rate?

You are locked in UNLESS you change your package after the annual ticket price increase. For example, if prices go up in June, but a free dining discount comes out in July, you can add free dining (if your package qualifies), but you will then pay the new ticket prices.

As stated, you are locked in unless you make changes to your package after a ticket price increase. Here's a further caution: When you check-in and receive your tickets, you may decide to add a day or a ticket option. Before you upgrade, you should use your tickets first to enter a theme park. If you use those tickets then upgrade, your tickets will get current gate price credit, and you'll only owe the upgrade cost. But if you upgrade before entering a theme park, your tickets will get credit for the price you paid (old ticket price) and you will owe the price increase plus the upgrade cost.

This price-bridging policy applies to Disney resort package tickets and third party-sold Disney tickets such as AAA, UCT & MapleLeaf. The policy does not apply to Disney tickets bought separately at a WDW ticket selling facility or online.
