Package reservation payment question

We booked a package thru our travel agent (AAA) Does the package have to be paid in full before you go? I would like to pay if off before we leave. I did have the reservation thru Disney but wanted to add the dining package so they told me I had to book it thru AAA to get the discount? Any info would be helpfull
