Hi,

I haven't been to Disney since 2008 so am extremely excited to be going Nov 4_11 2021 and staying at Pop Century.

I have been paying on my package and almost have the balance paid off. I know I need to have it pd beforehand but are there any disadvantages to paying it off 11 months early?

If you end up cancelling and need the money really quick, it could take some time.

There may be some future discounts that you could apply.. Not sure if it would be harder to change the category of your package and get a refund if paid in full now.. I did this, paid the deposit only, change the type/category when it became available, and got about $400.00 off my POP resort package for Jan. 2021. Wait until you are closer to your travel dates to pay in full (30 days out) and meanwhile keep the $$ in the bank drawing interest - if you have it now. Spend the interest on Mickey Ice Cream bars... .lol

That would be my only concern. Discounts are usually set for the next 6 months. So you wont find your final price until around may of this year. Which may require cancelling and rebooking. Which will give you refunds and new charges. it wont be pretty.
