Package or not?

Okay...for my last two big WDW trips...I have booked packages including resort room and WDW passes. I read somewhere that you can do much better doing these separate.

Thoughts?

I am working with a DU agent and was pleased with our first quote, but I'm always looking for ways to stretch our Disney Dollars

What do you do? Packages....or separate? We will be there 7 days (I hope...I hope...I hope) in February (the week before Pres Week)

I just received a quote from DU for next August, 7 nights @POR w/ Dreammaker package, and I realized by booking myself and buying my own passes, I'm saving over $500. They offer with the packages the UPH's, which in the past, we have never taken advantage of all that they offer (i.e. golf, lagacy tile, PI, etc.). So, for us, we would want the 7 day PHP passes. It's all about what you want to do with your time there, and what you will have time for. Good luck.
