Package non-parishable food carry on or checked bagged?

I leave on the fantasy soon - and I’m bringing a few food items non-perishable and packaged - I know wine and water need to go in carry on , but what about food items?

As long as the food is packaged and non-perishable, it can go in either checked or carry-on bags. Liquids need to be carried on because there is a chance they could spill and affect other luggage. Solid food might still suffer due to rough handling, so keep that in mind if you are putting food in checked bags.
