Package deals out for all throughout 08

Anyone else get the Disney Destination email this morning?
Unfortunately, the whole month of March was blacked out. :-(

Here are the dates. 1/1/08–2/13/08, 3/30/08–5/21/08, 8/3/08–11/25/08 and 11/30/08–12/18/08.

Yes I got it. But when it says starting at $58/day/person, does that mean for a child? Does anyone know the junior or adult rate?

I priced out a few different dates through the "special" link and as rack rate.

This is rack rate with new verbage! Instead of "a family of 4 can go for $xxx" they are making it look like a deal saygin $58 per PERSON per day

I was just browsing the link from WDW. The date in August was off. It is really from 8/30 til November, not 8/3 (I wish it was)

I just called and it came out to $1149.00 at POP from 11/30 thru 12/4 for 2 adults and DD3. I don't want the package so i didn't take the offer, even though all of the rooms i wanted (AKL standard, POP standard) were available. I may end up doing a bounceback offer instead since we're leaving tomorrow to WDW.

When i use the WDW website or if I click the link in the offer, i get the same price of $1219.72 from 11/30/08 to 12/6/08. Where's the discount?

Now I am confused.... "the offer"??? Isn't it just rack rate. Actually, 11/30-12/4 2A,1C Pop(standard room) with 5 day base ticket is $1022.69... Not sure what room type or tix you have but your price doesn't seem to have any "discount."

Looks like this is just advertising same old as old, as a PP mentioned.
Anyone else see it differently.

Doesn't make me too happy or make me feel "magical" when they pull something like this, especially when we are leaving tomorrow for WDW.

I received this email also, I called and the lady said I need a code. There was no code on the email, just that discount on packages, my dates are included.

Nope, there is no discount. I called CRO to confirm the prices along with the prices on the website and they are the same; rack rate. Not sure where the discount is and the CM couldn't find it either. The email is misleading. I don't know if this is Disney trying to pull a fast one, or someone goofed and didn't add the codes to the site when the "lets get started" link is selected.

Sorry, but I don't see how this is snake oil. It clearly states that the offer is for a call from Mickey Mouse on Christmas Day if you book a vacation package by a certain date. That's it. No where does it say that there is a discount on a vacation package.

I just read through it again and I think the only thing special about the offer is if you book during the dates provided in the offer, you will get a call from Mickey on Christmas day. There is nothing in the offer that says anything about discounts.

Sorry Liz, but i gotta disagree. The offer states "Week long packages start at $58 a day per person. Includes hotel room and park tickets." If that doesn't sound like a discount to you, i don't know how much more plainly it needs to read. After the dates it states "The number of rooms allocated for this offer may be limited. In addition to the supposedly discounted offer, you get a call from Mickey Mouse on Christmas Day. Since I call screen everything, i'd probably just end up not answering it anyway. LOL

Nonetheless, i'm not booking it and just getting room-only at rack rate until room-only codes or some leaked code comes out. We leave tomorrow.....woohoo!
