Since I'll be offsite I might take advantage of this service at these 4 locations...does anyone know if there is a cost associated with it? Thanks.

For your convenience, the Disneyland Resort offers a Package Check Service. If you are staying at one of theDisneyland Resort Hotels, you may have your purchases sent to the hotel. If you are just here for the day, or are staying at a non-Disney hotel, you may check your purchases until you leave at:

• Elias & Company in Disney California Adventure Park
• Newsstand at Disneyland Park
• The Star Trader at Disneyland Park
• Pioneer Mercantile at Disneyland Park

Just as a follow-up, it's worth noting that you have to take your packages to those locations and drop them off. The store where you made the purchase will not transport the package for you.

Some do...at least they did last year. You just have to ask. We were offered the service by a store not on that list when we presented out room key for payment.

Keep in mind that they will only deliver to the three ON SITE RESORT hotels (you mentioned offsite in the title). They will not be available until 7am the next morning and you have to go down to the bell desk to quick them up.

This is correct. You have to walk your packages to the in-park package check. And it can involve a wait to drop/pickup. We found it much easier to rent a large locker. Shop, drop off your packages in the locker and go. The big lockers are pretty big and will hold lots unless you're planning on buying huge or oddly shaped items.

We usually stay onsite, but this time we had our RV. I think package delivery is one of the main reasons for staying onsite! That and EMH.

Yup, no package delivery off site. Best ya got available is free package check at the news stand but you have to pick them up at the end of the day.

Also, if you are getting larger items many of the DL stores will ship UPS home for you for just the cost of the ground shipping. They will pack and ship, you just pay at the register.

We just scope out anything larger that we want to buy and then pick it up no the way out at the end of the night.
