Package add-ons?

I'm not sure if this is the right board to post this on, but I'm wondering if someone could give me info, or point me to a link, that outlines the add-on plans available for Disney vacation packages (Silver, Gold, etc.) I'm interested in them but don't fully understand how they work so I'd like a bit more info.
