Has anyone used the pack-n-play or cribs that the resorts will provide? We will have a 9 month old and cant decide if we should try to take it with us or just use the ones the resort can provide. We are flying and its the first time we will be flying with our little one so the simpler the better!

The PnP's they provide are very simple, and they do provide a sheet for the pad (w/disney characters on it of course). I thought it was fine... I agree, when you're traveling by air, the simpler the better! If you want a crib or something nicer, you might also consider renting from www.abbf.com. Just a thought.

We have used them 2 times at Value resorts. They provide a basic pack and play with a fitted sheet and top sheet. They are fine! I suggest your own blanket from home. The 1st night is always rough for our Ds's, who normally sleep well, but no problems from then on. I think it would be a major hassle to bring your own.
OT: we also ordered all of our baby food and diapers from garden grocer, right down to bibsters. It was great not to have to pack any of that and it saved me from shipping it myself. It was delivered right to our room. I also suggest using the baby care centers for a break, as well as feedings and changings. It is a nice change in a long day:)

If you're staying at the Poly you may get an actual crib, that's what we got at the Bpardwalk. It was fine, a little bit smaller than a normal crib, and our DS who was 1.5 at the time slept great in it. At the Pop we got a pack n play and that was fine too. They seemed clean and fairly newer. I definitely would not pack one, there's already enough to bring for a baby.

Call your resort to see if it is a crib or a pack-n-play that you will get in your room. If you have that size sheet at home then wash 1 or 2 in with your laundry so that your little one will have a familiar scent in the crib.

We stayed at SSR in a 2BR in Sept and had a pack-n-play. DS slept just fine in that.

We've been to the World 3 times with someone in a pack n play. The ones we have gotten have always been immaculately clean. I wish my own was so clean. Our kids have slept well in them. We always bring a favorite blacket or stuffed animal from home to give them something familiar. I whole heartedly agree, one less thing to lug is a bonus.

I did bring my own pack 'n play my first trip with an infant, because I was concerned about cleanliness. Disney already had one in our room when we arrived, so we checked it out. I was pleasantlt surprised how clean it was! After that (and 2 more babies) we never brought our own and always used Disney's. At various resorts through the years we have not had an issue.

We've had to use the pnp since 2001, first with our oldest and now with the youngest. I always pack our pnp sheet because sometimes they have not provided one. We always take our ds's favorite blanket and I tuck a resort blanket around the sides of the pnp to help block out the tv and lights. We've never had any problems with the pnp and they've always been very clean.

The PnP have worked fine on prior trips with DS. On our next trip, he's a lot more active (he'll be almost 15 mo) so I'm renting a crib from abbf just to be safe.
