Next month taking family with 16 month old grandson so this is the 1st time we'll need to use the pack 'n play in the room. Do they supply any bedding material for them or do we need to bring our own?

Thanks

we took our DGS own sheets with us, thought it might be the scent and feel he was used to and make it easier for him to transition to the "vacation" home. :)

we are bringing our own this next trip since he did not sleep well when we were there in July.

This is exactly what we did when we used the Pack and Plays... it helped them feel like it was a familiar surrounding, and didnt take up much room in the suitcase.

another for I take my own - but there is a Mickey sheet for the pack N play in the closet with it.

In Jan we took our 14 mt old and I took his blankets. I bought one of those twin egg foam matteress pads for $10, and wrapped around the thin foam board that goes in the bottom of the pack-n-play.

We also brought two of our own (in case we needed to wash one) for our 16 month old last September. That way we could have more than one available.

On a side note, our pack n play at Boardwalk looked like it had been used frequently and had milk stains on the pad. I called housekeeping and within 5 minutes they had not only brought a different pack n play but it was also brand new as he took it out of the box in front of me. Not saying that would happen all the time but if yours is not up to your standard(and that one was not for me) do not be afraid to ask for something better...

Happy trip!!

I would also bring at least one sheet from home, since they only provide one and you never know if you'll need a change of sheets with little ones! We always bring one and keep the Mickey one as backup.

Even better. Most DVC resorts have a limited amount of cribs for use. You can request on your ressie - but better to call Mousekeeping for it. They are MUCH better than pack and plays - cleaner and metal so you can wash down yourself. If one is not available on your checkin day - keep calling during your stay to get one.

The provided Mickey sheet is the cheapest stiffest material you've ever seen. I take a pack-n-play mattress cover and a flannel sheet (both cheap at target) and it makes it much more comfy. Just remember to bring them home for the next trip!

We used the crib for our DD when she was 8 months old and it was nicer than a pack 'n play. We used the pnp for her to play in while we got ready in the mornings.

we started out with a crib, used it for only about an hour. DGS tends to worm his way into corners when he sleeps, and there are no bumper pads provided with the crib. So rather then him being up against the metal bars, we moved him into the pnp.:)

Our DD does the same thing - gets herself as tight as possible into the corner of the crib. We took the spare flat sheet for the couch, rolled it up and wound it through the bars on the end of the crib DD was curling up in. This eliminated her bumping into the metal bars and gave her a soft cushion to bump instead.
