Pack more or laundry day?

Ben's Mom, I have a son that is 19 months and I know that you are going to have to wash to keep stains from setting in Ben's clothes! Is he as messy as my son? Somedays he looks like PigPen.

I would take less and wash - the laundrys are all near the pools, so the kids can swim while you wash which makes it pretty painless.

We always do this. It works well for us. The parks close early this time of year & my kids enjoy an evening swim. Of course, DH does the laundry in our family. This means I am "forced" to supervise the boys at the pool. Life is rough

I have done laundry twice, once at WL (great time, met a gal from Australia and had a nice chat) and once at CS. If you have the clothes and the room, take them, if not, laundry isn't that bad. HOWEVER...watch out for the crayons!

I had a laundry nightmare at the CS when I accidently washed and dried a box of cheap crayons with half of our clothes. The entire load was ruined and we had to WEAR THE CLOTHES THE REST OF OUR VACATION!

I blame it on the restaurant that gave my children the crayons in the first place.

The dryers are hot, but don't blow much air. Perfect conditions for melting crayons. I still cringe when I think of my poor children looking like vagabonds as we wandered through the parks.

We're going for 9 days and I debated this as well, but in the end I'm just packing more. If we packed 4-5 outfits each we probably could have done all carry-ons, but DH said "NO WAY!" so therefore if I have to check all my luggage I might as well pack enough for all our days and not do laundry.
