Can anyone who has stayed at the Beach Club tell me about the pack and plays that they have in the rooms? I have a crib booked to be delivered, but my son will sleep anywhere and on anything so I am wondering if I shouldn't just use the P&P that comes with the room.

Anyway, just looking for some opinions.

We stayed at Beach Club last November with our DD who was then 4 months old. We were given a metal porta crib, not a pack and play. I'm not sure if that's what they normally give guests or if it was because our DD was so young. Hope that helps.

We stayed at POR last year with our DD (then 18 months old) and we are booked at POR again for this November (DD will be 2 1/2years old then) and both times I requested a "crib" and I was told on the phone that we would get a pack n'play, which is perfectly fine with us. DD actually sleeps better in the pack n'play. Last year, I took one of her comforters that she was using at home at the time (I did not wash it, so her scent would still be on it) and put then down in the pack n'play after I put the sheets on. They brought us 2 sets of sheets, which was really nice.

Hope this helps!!!

We have stayed there a few times and each time requested a crib, which was delivered. There are also Graco pack and plays available - I just like the sturdiness of the crib better, although it does take up some room.

The crib is metal and has casters.

Have fun!

The pack and plays are fine - and they usually fit it a corner without too much trouble. We requested one at the BC this May but DD2 decided she wanted to sleep in the big bed. We called down to mousekeeping and got bed rails so she was fine. Bring a light blanket for the crib though...there are no "crib" size blankets provided.

One thing I did forget about the crib was that there aren't crib sheets used - they use (I think) flat twin sheets folded under the mattress. So if you are at all concerned about the baby/toddler getting stuck under the sheet, go with the pack & play instead.
