No, but we are going to the Minnesota State Cross Country meet on Saturday. Our girls team is running and one of the boys is running as an individual. Our boys team didn't qualify but they won the state tournament the past two years and ran in Portland, OR last Dec for the National Cross Country meet Nike sponsored. That was pretty cool!

I won't be going, but several of the girls are good friends with my DS and DD.

No, but my son is one of the captains of his XC team and they're going to Ma. Eastern State championships this weekend. Then on to States!!!

awesome. Our local team is going to the NJ State championships and hopefully onto Meet of Champions. My son's college team just got the East Coast AC championship last weekend and onto regionals this weekend. He will be going to footlocker in NY to watch his hs friends compete. I love xc. Only 2 weeks away from his first winter track meet though.

He is enjoying running college level. It's tough, alot of miles but he loves that. Cross country meant he automatically had a group of friends. He stays in the athletes dorms. Is your brother a sr. this year? He's suffering a bit of homesickness though.

My brother is a junior this year.

I feel sorry for your son. I was homesick my first year of college. It consumed me. I hope he can use his athletics to get his mind off of home. I am sure all of those miles help keep his mind off of, well, everything And here comes indoor track................
