I will be attending a photography workshop in Cape Ann, Ma. in June. Padalyn and I are thinking of extending it to include a few days in P-Town. We've stayed at the Heritage House previously. Anyone have any suggestions for a B&B? Or someplace with a shared kitchen or efficiency (to save on meal costs)? We know some places cater to the girls some to boys. We prefer (obviously) the girls, or a mixed location.

Sounds fun! We usually stay in Truro, so you would have to drive into P town, but I have heard good things about the Provincetown Inn.

where on Cape Ann will you be? cape ann is beautiful, Rockport is one of our favs,:thumbsup2

We'll be in Rockport or Gloucester. I haven't been in some years. My fathers family was from Melrose, and they had a house on the lake (damned if I remember which). I'm already drooling thinking about clams and lobster rolls.

oh I can't wait for summer!
we did a spur of the moment get away last june and stayed at the Vista in Gloucester, right across the street from Good Harbor beach,
and its only about 5 min down the road from Rockport, right on Thatcher rd which leads right into rockport

we usually eat at a restaurant in rockport right on the water, it doesn't look like much, but the food is really good.

oh and if you make your way thru essex before going out onto cape ann, the Village restaurant is so good, and Farnhams for clams
woodmans is too touristy!

ok i am so hungry for seafood now!

Hey Stacey,
If you haven't booked anything in PTown yet. I live on the Cape and go to P-Town quite a bit, my favorite b&b is Gabriel's. The website is gabriels.com the last time I went, my gf and I stayed in the Jane Goodall room. The room itself is beautiful, with a fireplace that you see both in the br and the bathroom with a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The main house (Goodall is in it) is great, it has books, games, a piano and a kitchen that the owners let everybody use when its available. The owners are great people too. Oh and its a hotel for the ladies... Samantha Brown actually stayed there not to long ago.

Hope this helps and Enjoy your Trip! :thumbsup2

Thanks Diva, we'll look into Gabriels. Now, I am focused on WDW. 48.5 hours until we arrive!!!! Soon as I get back I have to nail the plans on the June trip (along with my other photography trip).

36 hours now!!!! I don't write trip reports perse. But I will be writing a full review on dinner Tuesday night. Padalyn and I are going to V&A!!!! Yes, we will be doing the wine pairings. I even bought a new camera for the occasion, as I don't want to bring my dSLR that night. Ironic since I am going to do some work for a photography lecture I am presenting in May, and I am dragging a good deal of my gear with me. I have no idea how I fit everything into my carry-on bags. I can't believe I'm completely packed already. But in my defense, I will be at an all-day photography event tomorrow and will not have time to last minute pack like I usually do.

DisneyDiva,
I checked out Gabriels website.....it looks like it might just be worth the splurge. Luckily we are going a week before "season" starts.

We've stayed at Bayshore and also at Red Inn. I would recommend Bayshore for its very tranquil location, plus it's walking distance to everything. Have fun! Love P'town!!

Haha I love your hourly countdown!

I never stayed in P-Town, my dad lived in Plymouth, so we'd just take his boat over. But it's a fun time!
Have fun on your trip!!
