Looks like my wide angle 2.8 and fisheye (thanks to Groucho's great pics) will need to be on my wish list a bit longer.
Well....this might be a silly question for you photo guru's and one I never thought of, nor had a problem with, when I got my D-80.
Background:
I wanted a pocket compact digital camera to schlep around town since there have been shots I missed by not having a camera with me, candid home shots of the labs and imprompto family pics. Also wanted the option (for travel) for my worst nightmare...having my DSLR stolen.
headache: )
Rather than taking my D-80 gear everywhere, I've been looking for a decent pocket size that's more flexibe/creative and with the ability to shoot P, M, S, A with optical VR...etc. Found and received yesterday a Nikon Coolpix S710, apparently newly released, uses my existing sd cards & nikon software and $100. discount.
Question:
I started to set up the camera. I personally hate the date/time imprinted on pictures.
Can someone tell me why I would need to set date/time upon start up?? Why is this done? Can I bypass this step??
Thanks in advance!!
