Couple quick questions. My first question is, we have a 2 1/2 year old also going with us who we did not have to purchase a ticket for...does this mean she will not get to have a treat bag and any other such party giveaways?

I also wanted to see what tips folks may have for the party...must see things, strategies etc We have a dinner ressie at the Liberty for 7pm and will join the party right after that.

thanks !!

Yes, the two year old will get anything they give out. We're going with a 2 1/2 yr old, we went to the one in March it was amazing! She was just over 2 then.

The 7pm dinner reservation might make seeing EVERYTHING kinda hard. We waited 45 mins to see Captain Jack Sparrow (who is worth the wait!) plus another 45 mins just to see Cinderella and Prince Charming. We didn't make it to Ariel, or any of the other Princesses, other than Jasmine, who we only waited about 15 mins for. Also, we didn't do any of the special "training" things, with Aladdin and Capt. Jack. I'm sad, since Aladdin is in his dress costume, not the peasant one ...

I heard a rumor that Tink will be out for Meet n Greets in the ToonTown tent, but I have no honest idea if that's true. I hope so.

The parade was AMAZING. I loved the fireworks.

We came to Disney straight after school back in March, and Julie took an hour nap from 11:15-12:15ish. She woke up as we were leaving the park. She was TICKED she'd fallen asleep. Other than that, she was calm and peaceful, just like she always is at Disney.

It's a lot of fun, I hoped I helped a bit.

ETA: What day are going? We'll be there the 18th

Thanks for the info! We are going the 21st. So you think i need to can the 7pm ressie? What time do they let you in for the party? Maybe I should see about another time. thanks for the great feedback. :)

Personally, I wouldn't wait in the loooooong lines for candy - when we were there in January the candy was just Hershey's treasures - little pieces of chocolate.

We will also be there on the 21st! :thumbsup2

Aww, we'll be there the 18th, but we're going to be at FW with you all for the start of your vaca!

I believe they let you into the park at 4pm with the ticket. For MNNSHP, I made our reservations at 4:30, and the CM told me 4pm was the earliest we could get in with just the party ticket.

Are you staying in the cabins at FW? We'll be with my parents in their rv in one of the pet loops. FW is amazing for little kids, I think. Sometimes, you forget you're actually at Disney, with all the trees and the bunnies.

yep in the cabins! I have stayed there many times as a kid and again as an adult...but this is our first time w/ our own kids to experience it with and I am so excited ! Someday I would love an RV and I also want to live closer to the South so we can pack up and drive to FW in less time. Just love it there! As a kid my fav critters to hunt out at FW were the lizards and the peacocks. I have to say what i hated the most was the darn roosters at 5am ! lol

Does anyone know how crowded the p+p party for 9/3 should be? I know that's Labor Day-- does it usually sell out? Not sure if this is for us-- thinking of getting tickets at the last minute. Don't want to be disappointed and miss it. thanks for any help.

I don't know how busy it will be. This is the first year of it, Disney did it in the spring, and now again in the fall. Since it's Labor Day, I suspect it could be pretty crowded, but only b/c Disney is pretty crowded on that day. When we went in March, I spoke to a CM while waiting for my family to get off of Space Mountain. He said some nights during the spring were REALLY busy, and some nights were like ours ... we had a five minute "wait" for Space Mountain. Also, this time around, they are doing it for a shorter time period.

To the OP, don't want to dissapoint, but the peacocks are gone. Snif! And you know, I am probably going to be doing a double take at all the twins I see that weekend, wondering if it's a Dis "friend". I hope you and your girls have a wonderful trip!

I recommend the parade, and I HIGHLY recommend the fireworks. To me, the fireworks alone are worth the price of the party. I also enjoy the Fantasyland dance party. The characters there (at least they were last time) were Flounder, Sebastian, Carmen, and Fantail.
