P&O Ferries with FREE DLP ticket

I was just booking a crossing with P&O Ferries and I noticed they are offering a FREE one day Hopper ticket if you book before 30th September.

No use for me, but someone else may benefit.

Can you use the ticket after the 30th September? Or does that mean book and travel before the 30th Sept?

It's book before 30th September 2008 for travel until 31st March 2009.

A good idea, but they would have to offer me a free AP and accomodation for me to actually use P&O

ive already booked our ferry but gutting as i need a 1 day pass was going to buy one off ebay but was warned off that idea
