Oz the Great and Powerful (Spoilers)

I know that this movie came out a long time ago, but i was wondering what everyone thought of this movie. I just saw the whole thing, and thought it was pretty good. Glinda was my favorite character, and I thought that Finley was hysterical! Who are your favorite characters, favorite parts, and what did you think of the plot twists?

James Franco was very hot, per usual, in this movie.

I didn't like the end so I didn't really like the movie, besides James Franco.

While I didn't think it was fantastic, I didn't think it was awful. The entire first half I thought was boring, up until the point when (spoiler) Theodora became the Wicked Witch of the West. I thought it got interesting there. Although I wished the beginning hadn't taken so long, I thought it was a good story premise. I don't know if I'll ever watch it again, but I would recomend it just for the beautiful visuals in that movie. I overall thought I was going to love the wicked witches, but it turns out I liked Glinda more. I will say that the metaphors for each Oz character being normal human world characters the wizard interacted with was very clever, especially the little china girl metaphor.

The girl at the beginning of the movie who couldn't walk. It was way before he got into his balloon. She was there with her parents at the magic show and he was bragging that he could make anything happen, so she told him to make her walk. The parents said that they would pay him. Then he refused because he couldn't do it. Then it started a short uproar from the audience. Then they called him a fraud. I know I'm explaining this in short sentences with a long explanation but this was kind of how it went down. I only remember that because I didn't understand why it was in the movie. Now I know because of China Girl.

I liked Theodora the best. I was upset when her sister turned her into a wicked witch. She was so pretty! After her, I like China Girl, Finley, and Glinda.

Ikr! She was my favorite character until then, and then you find out about Glinda, and she became my favorite. I think that when she started crying and it burned her cheeks I figured out what was going to happen. ("I'm melting!")
