So, we are thinking of taking my FIL/MIL on our cruise - thing is, my FIL has to be on oxygen 24/7. Is he allowed to go on the cruise? And if so, is he allowed to bring his big oxygen tank? And how is it on airplanes?

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Flying with o2

http://www.vgmfreedomlink.com/traveling_oxygen.asp, That link also has info about using o2 and cruising!

I am going on Podcast 2.0 cruise in December and I am also on oxygen 7 by 24. I will be renting a portable oxygen concentrator for flying and also use on the ship. I will have my oxygen supplier, Apria, deliver oxygen tanks to the ship which the ship can store for me.

Disney is very accomodating. Are you using Dreams Unlimited? Your travel agent can help you with arrangements for the ship. There are some forms you will need to have your doctor fill out.

Good Luck and I would love to hear how it goes.

It's a great day to be alive,
Carol
