Please help me understand this... We currently own a 150 pt contract at BCV, if we purchase say a BWV contract can I bank my points and use them at BCV's 11 month window next year? Hope I explained this ok.

Hi, you can only combine different resorts points at 7 mths - so BWV points will only be able to be used at BCV at 7mths out and vice versa.

However, you could bank/use/borrow all of your BCV for a trip there at 11mths and then do the same with your BWV points for a vacation there - in effect alternating your vacations each time.

Even if we bank our 2010 BWV points we can't use them at 11 months in say the next use year at BCV?

no afraid not - they remain BWV points, so the only resort that can be booked at 11 mths with those points is BWV - any other resort won't be available unti lthe 7mth window - sorry

Banking has nothing to do with the home resort booking advantage. One receives home resort points. Those points keep their home resort unless you are booking a vacation within 7 months from the date of arrival. Then you can mix points from different resorts.

That's why some members buy several resorts. So they have the 11 month advantage at each one.

Book the trip days you want at the 11 month window, using both contracts at your home resorts. Then, at the 7 month window change one or both to the resorts you want or waitlist if necessary. If the resort doesn't come through, your vacation plans are solid at your home resorts! We have made it work every trip.

If you want to book BWV in the home resort window (from 11 months to 7 months plus 1 day prior to check in) only BWV points are accepted as payment. They can be banked, current, borrowed or transferred points but they must be BWV points. If you are booking at 7 months or less from check in, any points are accepted as payment at any resort.
