Owners Locker - what do you store?

Seriously considering an Owners Locker. We currently go once a year, sometimes twice. Is it worth it? What do you all store in yours?

The things I know are there:
  • A slimline Brita pitcher plus a filter or two (not a fan of Orlando water)
  • A nonstick skillet (just in case the one in the unit is scratched to high heaven).
  • Some "compact" beach towels (I forget where DW found these, but they are great).
  • A set of full-sized bottles of the H2O+ toiletries (looking prescient now!)
  • A blister kit/bandages/etc.
The next thing to go in probably ought to be a decent kitchen knife.

Full size toiletries, scissors, tape, over the counter meds, spare Magic bands, Tervis tumblers, Lysol wipes and spray, dryer sheets, laundry pods, batteries, extension cord, foil, plastic zip bags, plastic wrap, clothes pins, sewing kit, a good paring knife, salt and pepper shakers, Pam spray, ice tray, cooling towels, fans, bandages, lotion, sun screen, phone chargers, etc…and we drive - still saves us a big hassle of having to lug all these ‘just in case’ items…

aluminum foil
Children's acetaminophen
Children's Benedryl
comb
cooling towels
disposable ponchos
dryer sheets
hair brush
ipad charging cord
iphone charging cord
laundry tabs
liquid hand soap
Marpac Dohm white noise machine
Misting fans x2
Moleskin
MP flavor enhancer - orange tangerine
MP flavor enhancer - strawberry lemonade
pens
ponytail holders
post-it notes
scissors
surgical masks
USB wall adapters x2
usb-c wall adapter
zyrtec

I also have shampoo/conditioner, sunscreen, magic bands, popcorn bucket, acetaminophen,Brita pitcher/filters, popcorn bucket, collapsable laundry baskets, nail clippers, gallon & quart size ziplocs, and other stuff I'm not remembering at the moment.

We have similar items but also have Disney themed sun visors, a throw blanket, and both kinds of coffee filters (we stay in other TS besides DVC that use different filters). I think I love having full size shampoo, body wash, etc., and hair brush and comb. We stay in 1 BR, so between the OL and in-room laundry, we can come with carryons only.

I started a list of things I would store. This is what I have so far.

Zip lock bags

Shout gel

Coffee filters

Mirror

Band aids

Air bed

Ponchos

Pop up hampers

Dryer sheets

Laundry detergent

Hangers

Night lights

Sharpie

Closet hangers

Hand held Fans

Salt and pepper

I'll add probiotics & water filter.

Does anyone keep clothing in them? I was thinking it would be a great way to basically only travel with a small carry on if I could keep 2 pairs of walking shoes or sneakers plus water shoes for the pool. A bathing suit and 2 or 3 pairs of shorts and tee shirts. Add in a WDW polo shirt or 2. Socks etc.

I would add some microwaveable bowls some silverware and some basic kitchen items.

We will be going once a year so the purpose for us would be more to travel light.

Right above your post, I have socks, pajamas, dress, slippers for pool and those kitchen items you mentioned. Don't need walking shoes because I'll have those on and all else, I can buy new logo wear. Adding panties, swimsuit & tshorts on next trip so I will be good to go.

I keep my walking clothes and sneakers in them, as well as an extra swimsuit and coverup, with my pool sandals.

I would keep Disney t-shirts in ours, except that I wear them at home too! And our OL is pretty tightly packed now as it is, so no room to add clothing anyway. Our purpose is the same as yours, to travel light, but with in-room laundry we can bring minimal clothing for each trip.

Our locker is filled to the brim with much of the stuff mentioned above. I was contemplating getting a second locker. Does anyone have two?
We've contemplated getting a second one for some bulkier stuff, like hoodies, larger beach blankets (so you don't need 2 towels just to cover your lounge), etc. So far, we've talked ourselves out of it.

So far...

I get it. Our second one would be used to store additional necessities....like gin, vodka, and a pool cooler.

I have needs......

Since Universal hotrls don't allow owners lockers dldeliveries at bell services I have not purchased it in the past.
However, I'm changing plans and going forward I will stay at other timeshares in the area (probably Sheraton or Marriott) for the Universal leg of the trip. I think OL delivers and picks up at those timeshares, am I right?
Adding a checked in bag to my flight costs around $150, more than the cost of the OL, it would repay itself if I can travel just with the carry on.

Currently the only promotion for DVC members is a huge discount on the first year, am I right? No ongoing discount?

Yes, I've traveled budget airlines sometimes, my goal was only a backpack. So I have my park sneakers for me. For everyone, old swimsuits, a big swim hat, pool sandals, a couple tees we wouldn't wear IRL, and pajamas. Size up for my kid.

If it got swept away in a hurricane, it's nothing I would miss, but it's enough clothes to let me pack two changes and be able to go with a backpack.

I thought about socks and underwear, but I can never remember what's there, and that stuff takes up so little room, I just pack it. I do leave a pair of running socks in my park shoes, even if they are dirty, after a horrible park trip with the wrong socks, which was a disaster all around.
