Owner's Locker Question

I think I have been sold on the idea of Owner's Locker. We are new DVC owners and having our first trip home to BLT in September.
My question is that I know all the internet deiscounts are going to end June 30th. I saw a thread somewhere that described different discounts at different sites. I need to know which discount is the best for us and where that site may be. We will only be using Owner's Locker once a year. Next year not at all, so I don't think the extra visit per year is desirable for me at this point. Does anyone have info on the different discounts, and what would be best for me?
Also, How did you get the stuff for your 1st Owner's Locker to your resort?
Did you ship a box? Bring it? We'll be flying then renting a car.
Thanks for any help and info. I think I will be glad I did this. Hubby sceptical, but he'll see the value I'm sure.

As far as discounts go, when I signed up, you literally chose your discount from a dropdown list. One of them was disboards, but I thought that was kind of funny cause anybody could just chose a discount. I'm guessing they don't really care since they implemented it that way.

We fly and don't rent a car. Our first trip we just brought an 'extra' suitcase with our owner's locker stuff. I put extra in quotes because without owners locker, it wouldn't be extra, it'd just be normal. I love owner's locker!

I recently used AllEars as my referral. The locker was $26.75, and the annual fee is $99. That includes the initial pickup/dropoff and one free visit per year.

We lucked out and were able to send our locker items down with my sister who moved to the Orlando area two week before our trip. If we weren't able to do that, we would've shipped it.

The Mousesavers or AllEars discounts are better than the DIS discount for you if you aren't going to use the extra visit each year.

I just finished unpacking what I need for this trip out of my Lockers - gosh, I love those things.

I found a big box with similar dimensions to the owners locker box so I could be sure everything would fit and I shipped it down via UPS. We were going down on a Fri. so I shipped it on the Monday of that week and it arrived on Wed. We were staying at SSR on that trip so there was no fee to hold the box. Just note the name on the reservation, your arrival date & ressie confirmation # somewhere on the box so Bell Services knows the who, what, when & where!! By shipping the box we were able to go in carry-ons and didn't have to deal with any checked luggage.
