Owner's Locker Price increases

Just got an e-mail regarding new pricing starting in July. Pasted the important updates below.

Here is the new pricing:

Value Plan-for those years with no WDW trips planned.

-$10.50 per month or $105 Per Locker per year paid in advance.
-This plan only includes the storage of your Locker; no round trip Visits are included (each round trip Visit is $30.00 and if you have more than one Locker being delivered, the Visit fee for the additional Locker is $15.00).

Moderate Plan-our most popular plan with one free round trip Visit.

$12.50 per month or $125 per Locker per year paid in advance.
-This plan includes the storage of your Locker and one free round trip Visit per Use Year (based on your Anniversary Date). Please note that the free Visit is “use it or lose it” and does not roll over into the next Use Year if unused. Extra round trip Visits during your Use Year are $30.00 each. If you have more than one Locker being delivered, the extra Visit fee for the additional Locker is $15.00.
-If you know you will be coming to WDW at least once per Use Year, this is the plan for you.

Deluxe Plan-come as often as you’d like with no extra fees.

-$22.50 per month or $225.00 per year in advance. The Deluxe Plan for an additional Locker is $18.00 per month or $180 per year paid in advance.
-This plan includes the storage of your Locker, and unlimited round trip Visits.
-The Deluxe Plan is designed for members who come to WDW more than 4 times per Use Year.

Does anyone know what it was before? I am on the free portion of the DVC one so I wasn't even sure if I Was going to keep it. Just trying to understand the increase.

I don't know if its limited to direct members only but if you go to the DVC website and go to the benefits area, there is a link for Owner's locker.
It gives you a 6 month of a free locker and 12 months of free deliveries. I hadn't looked super closely at the pricing as I hadn't decided if I even wanted it yet.

I am currently paying $19 per month for the Deluxe Plan, so an extra $3.50 per month or $42 per year.

That is correct. I went back and looked at old bank activity, and I was paying $5.25 per month on the promo deal. I switched to the Deluxe right when the promo would have expired and I'd have to start paying $10.50 per month. The difference between $10.50 and $19.00 for multiple trips made sense as we have more trips planned. It looks like the basic subscription cost hasn't increased (still $10.50 per month), but the trip fee increased from $25 to $30.

Seems reasonable.

We received this today too. As I explained it to DH, when our account renews we’ll pay the same - $105 - for the new year that we would have paid, because we don’t expect to visit Orlando during that next year so won’t need any round trips. And it gives us over a year to determine whether we’ll be traveling to Orlando often enough in future to warrant keeping the account open vs. giving it up.

Interesting!!!!! Never knew. I’m Direct in one membership and resale in the other.
