For anybody interested in taking their Owner’s Locker on a Disney Cruise, you should know that it fits perfectly under the desk.

The organizing tray fits right under the sink in the bathroom, so stays out of the way and won’t slide around.

The box is tough enough that if you pack wine in it, the bottles won’t get broken. We put 5 bottles of Champagne in ours (Fairy Tale from WDW, of course), and it came through fine. We did wrap them in bubble wrap, but no problems at all.

And for anyone wondering whether to sign up for Owner’s Locker - YES! They are extremely useful – it saves us at least 10 pounds of luggage per trip. If you have ever been annoyed paying the luggage charge, this is a much better way to go. And the customer service is unbeatable. John and Brian are the best. (Although we always seem to get John when we have an oddball request!)

Do they deliver these to the ship for you or do you have to pick it up in Orlando and take it over with you?

Okay, you peaked my interest, so I Googled "Owners Locker".

Since I've only been to Orlando once in my life, okay, twice, coming and going on the cruise, I guess I'm not a candidate.

Not sure I would want to leave anything in Orlando for my next visit. And given the $75 sign up fee, and $99 a year fee, sounds just cheaper to pay the excess baggage fee for the airlines, or........god forbid.....pack lighter.

I would agree TVGUY, sounds like you are not a candidate. But for those of us who travel to WDW 4-5 times a year, the Owners Locker is incredible!! We now can travel with carry ons only, saving both time and money not dealing with checked luggage.

Wow. Do you want to adopt me? 4-5 trips a year! I'm still paying for my lone trip to Disneyland LAST June.

I'd like to know this too. I have a friend who has DVC and also cruises and I've been trying to talk them into an Owner's Locker. How do you arrange for pick-up or drop-off for the end of the trip that does NOT include WDW? (In other words from just Port Canerval)

Ah.........I've been behind people like you on the plane, the ones with 4 carryons each.

So, you have you vacation only clothing in there?

I know they will meet you at MCO airport. I was going to do this but I ended up adding on a AKV stay so no need. They will have the Owner's Locker waiting for me at the MCO Marriott when I arrive at the beginning of my trip. So they do deliver to various Orlando areas.

Thanks for the info!

LOL, nope, just one carry on each! We have some "disney clothing" in there and my mickey crocs. But mostly it is toiletries, hairdryer, trading pins, park bag, laundry detergent, sunscreen, bandaids, tylenol and other OTC meds, hair products, and much more!! Now that it is only clothing we bring from home, a carryon is more than enough!!

When you bring the locker to the cruise, I assume it goes with your checked baggage.?? Do you seal it or leave it open for them to be able to search it.

Can you bring unopend snack items in it, or must that go in your carry-on?

Do you wait to seal it after you go through custums>

Sorry for all of the questions.

No takers. But I can't complain. My DM still loves me even after 50+ years.
She did take us all on a cruise 2 years ago, sadly NCL not Disney, but still a great time.
I just figure if some of the folks here can afford 50 or so cruises, they might be willing to let me have top bunk or get me an inside cabin!!!

Owner's Locker is the best! They will come to any area Orlando hotel or the airport. They are very flexible and I can't not tell you how wonderful their service is! We too save lots of money on luggage fees, as we are another one of those who visited 5 times last year and probably 4 this year. The locker holds so much stuff, and ours weighs probably close to 80 pounds and is stuffed to the top! We are totally satisfied customers, and will probably have to add a second locker if our family gets any bigger!

I would like to know this as well. In addition, I would like to know the process for getting it from MCO to the port. Do you just bring it on the bus or do you put luggage tags on it? We have an OL and would love to use it for our upcoming cruise, but I am still a little confused on how this process works.

John - are you out there? We need your help!

Owner's Locker has their own forums. You should check those out as they'd be able to readily and thoroughly answer your questions.

We love our locker!
