I think I remember reading somewhere that someone brought their own blow up mats to CC and just left them behind for someone else. Have you heard of this... is the $$ savings worth it or would we spend all our time huffing and puffing? I saw 72" (deflated size) mats for $1.34 today and we are leaving the day after tomorrow so I humbly ask for some of that DIS geneous that is here for advice! :teacher: :wave2: :teacher:

We like to bring our own mats. It does save money, although the amount is relative (they're not all that expensive to rent). But the best thing is that it virtually eliminates theft. Sometimes people like to take your Disney mat if you leave it on your chair and don't keep an eye on it. Since they all look the same, you can't prove a thing. But if someone grabbed my transparent lime green mat, I'd be able to spot the culprit right away. They're really not all that hard to inflate.

We just did this as well, lime green of course. I bought a ring for my son and he was very easy to spot in the water.

Are you ready???? It's almost time!
I'm going to rent a mat instead of huffing and puffing, but I did buy a see-thru blue ring with yellow smilies on it for DD. Just a buck, no biggie.
See ya at 3:00 Sunday,
Melanie
