Own a PDA? Need opinions.

I want to get my wife a Dell Axim PDA for Christmas. There are 2 in roughly the same price range... like $20 diffrence.

The cheaper one is faster but the OS is 20003 version. The more expensive is slower but has the brand spanking new OS.

Which would you prefer? I mean, is speed important in a PDA? And I know that she will just use it for PDA stuff. No MP3s, no watching movies... Maybe she would put some pictures on it.

I bought mine, not really for speed, on a PDA, doesn't really matter anyways. I hate mine though, I got one with a digital camera, should have got one for MP3s! But in the long run, I do like it. I would go for brand spankin new OS!

Speed is really not important unless you were using like Excel on it. I have a Dell PDA, last year's, and love it.

Thanks Dan. I was looking at the middle one too. I would buy the one on the right, but no 802.11.
