I had a knee replacement in October 2007 and was in a wheelchair for the following 10 months. Needless to say, I have very little muscle in my calves.
We went to Dorney Park on Thursday, which is built on a hill. I haven't done that much walking since before my knee surgery. My calves are killingggggggggggg me! Before they were all flabby, but now they're nice and toned.
Anyway, anyone have any advice to deal with the pain? I've been taking ibuprofen, but I'm not sure if ice or massages would help. It's been so long since I've used those muscles that much that I forgot how to treat sore muscles!
