Hello all!!!

We are extremely excited because we will be at VB 7/26 thru 8/1 and this is our first DVC vacation. I have subscribed to the VB Adoration thread; which is amazing, and used the search feature but I am coming up empty.

1) Does anyone know of an OVIR to request?

2) What is the best way to go about it?

We have been to WDW before and know that it is JUST a request!!!

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I was there a couple of years ago and I had a spectacular view from the fourth floor. We are going back in two weeks and I hope to have another top floor view!

definately request a top floor room and a balcony that faces the ocean - not a balcony you have to turn and twist on to see the ocean. ;)

You are going to have a wonderful time. Don't forget that bug spray though.

Chiming in to reinforce the need to request a "full-on" ocean view. When we stayed at VB in an "ocean view" we got a pool view, IMHO, that we could see the ocean from at the side of the balcony. I requested a chnage at the front desk, was told I would have to wait for another room to be ready, chose to wait, and was happily placed in a room with a large balcony fully facing the ocean.

we had a room like that as well one time - they were fully booked and weren;t able to move us until the next day. I was miserable - had come down with a horrible migraine during the drive from WDW to vero and really need to sleep. Any sound - any light and I was sick to my stomach. Well having a room with a balcony facing the pool - meant having a noisey room during the day.

The CMs at the desk were very apologetic - totally understood my situation, but just didn't have anywhere else to put us.

So if you don't want to risk a noisy room during the daytime - make sure you get a full on ocean view - or at the very least a room on the other side of the Inn from the pool.
