Overwhelmed

Hey everyone!!!!

I just recieved my planning cd fro my intimate wedding in the mail and promptly rushed into the house to look at the cd on the computer. Now, I'm completely overwhelmed and don't know where to start. Did anyone else feel like this when they saw everything (prices included) on paper. We've been talking about what we might do for so long that the though of actually having to narrow down our choices and make a decision is mind boggling. HOw did you all get through it?

Since I won't be getting married for about two years, I haven't felt overwhelmed yet. Just take a deep breath and go through everything slowly, then sit down with your fiance and decide what options you really want for your wedding. Figure out the price for all your necessities and then if you have any more room in your budget, add on any extras you might like. I know it will probably be hard to pick what you include in your wedding, but it will be perfect no matter what! Enjoy planning!

Hi there. We are going through the same thing. We are actually having our VR at the Swan. But there is so much to choose from it makes your head spin! I didn't get a chance to plan my first wedding at all, was just able to show up that day. Just have fun with the whole thing and get as much advice from this board as you can (that's what we are doing) and everything will be wonderful.

I had my intimate wedding aty the WL just over 1 yr ago, and I remember how you feel. First I felt helpless b/c they made me wait until about 7 mos before the wedding to start with anything, and I was antsy to start planning. Then, when it came time to commit, I was a little nervous. But for the intimate wedding the choices are pretty straightforward, and when it came doewn to it I did one thing at a time and it wasn't bed at all. However, I didn't have anything like a planning CD, so I don't know if things have changed a lot or what. Just have fdun with it - when will you ever be making shoices like this again? There aren't any wrong choices, and it's all fun!!

I had a custome wedding and it blew my mind. it actually gets easier as time passes and you will continue to make changes allthe way up to the week before. i actually changed my videographer 6 weekd prior. just enjoy the plannning.
