overwhelmed with dining options

I wish they'd let you see a room at each of the resorts. I've wanted to stay at the Contemporary since I was a kid

it will feel like such a treat to spend the $80 I've set aside per day for food but it will probably go fast. I am going to have breakfast in the room

I wonder if you stopped in and asked if they'd let you. Just a quick peek anyway. The CMs on the Disney Dream let us do this when we were sailing 2 cruises back to back. While at dock but before new guests boarded, all the cabin doors were propped open. I just wanted to see how large the verandahs are on the aft cabins. I snapped a few pics and ran out. Of course hotels have different dates of people checking in and out but still I think a nice CM might understand.
Looking at pictures just isn't the same.

Here are some of our faves:

DHS - Starring Roles - has deli sandwiches and sushi roll trays and are very tasty, as DHS is tricky for CS

AK - Love Yak and Yeti CS - the servings are huge, so you can definitely share and save some $$ too

MK - we didn't care for BOG, but do like Columbia Harbor House

Epcot- love Sunshine Seasons...and the pretzels practically count as a meal

DTD - Wolfgang Puck Café, Earl of Sandwich are excellent

Also, Beaches and Cream at Beach Club.

Oh, I had to add that the kids turkey sandwich meal is decent - just turkey slices on goldfish flatbread, and you can get a small cup of fries, cookie and soda with that for $5.99 and it is just right for a light meal on a hot day. I have only seen it at Cosmic Rays (MK) but I am sure it is offered at other CS locations.
