Overwhelmed - Could sure use some suggestions on a rental car

Hello Board,

I know you probably get this question alot, and I've searched the boards to get a few codes, but haven't came across any that are available.

Our trip is planned for 08/12 - 08/21. I had reserved a mini-van a while back at a really good price (under $400 for 9 days). The couple that was going with us is now driving themselves because they have to leave sooner than we do.

With this now in place, we no longer need a mini-van. I was hoping for a mid-size car. Only 4 of us going to be in it.

Driving from Nashville to Orlando and back, will need unlimited mileage I suppose.

I am open to use any company and would like to get my rates below $285.00. Any suggestions, codes, coupons?

I surely appreciate any help!

check out mousesavers.com - depends on when your going but try AU02 for special orlando rates.. I used AU10 and the base rate for a dodge stratus was 129 wk. These two are no longe available across the 2 weeks I am renting. check out the countdown clock to figure out when that is..

Entertainment books have tons of coupons.. I wont be using any of them because none beat the thrifty rate.. also if you join thrifty bluechip they send you a coupon for 10% off but it takes like 6 weeks to get your card and coupon.

I was orginally looking to book a minivan at 199$ a week with the au10 code but decided a midsize was good enuff for my family of 4... we are going to do LOTS of driving the second week.
