We are going on a trip with my in-laws April 3 (check-in)-April 9(check-out).

My in-laws will need to buy park tickets.

Question 1: They can buy tickets for the days they need right? They do not have to buy length of stay tickets. Chances are they will arriving Sunday afternoon (hubster and I are driving down Saturday to stay off peoperty and arrive at WDW early Sunday to have a full day of park action), so I am pretty sure that Sunday my in-laws will not be hitting any parks. So I am thinking they will need tickets for M-F (we check out on Saturday, but my in-laws will probably head out early, while we leave later and do a morning at one of the parks.......

Ugh. I need to give them a price quote, and I'm like "Umm do they need 5, 6, or 7 day passes....."

Question 2: Where can I find pricing for the dining plan? Yet anoother price quote they need.

yep - just buy what you need.

5day = $247 , 7day = $257. you might also check undercovertourist. no big deal...

i don't think DVC has any upcharge for holiday periods. you may want to just ask about DDP pricing when you book the stay, and then call back later to book the DDP if your guests want it. you will need to pay for the dining plan when you book it.

Thank you and thanks to all.

I called DVC and added our dining plan option today (ugh, totally forgot that I had to pay for it THEN and THERE) and go tthat taken care of.

Sent MIL and emial with a price for 6 day tickets, but told her if they arrive late Sunday afternoon, then they would only need to buy 5 day park tickets.

What should have been a simple, here ya go, here's the price email, took me over an hour and half doing research. For my husband and I it is never this complicated as we have annual passes and just book a trip and go.

undercovertourist is awesome, has free shipping and no tax. have used them 4 times. dont worry if you dont have enougu days for them, if they fall short customer service at any park will upgrade you another day for the cost of the difference!!! so there is no need to overbuy.

As far as disney dining, i may be wrong about this but dont you have to purchage the same number of days as your hotel stay?

DVC is different (and changed recently to be more different). you don't need to buy tickets with a DVC points stay to get the DDP, and you can also segment your DVC points stay so that you only get the DDP for part of the stay.

webcs point is a great one for you. You can add a day to a multiday pass anytime before you use the last day of the pass and you only pay the difference between the current multiday pass you have and the day you are adding, not the full cost of a single day. Get them the 5 day and if they want to go to the park Sunday, do it. Then if you need to add another day torwards the end of the trip it will be like a few dollars a person to add the day.

Great point webcs!

I agree! I bought our tickets Friday morning, they were shipped out the same day (regular free delivery), and I got them in CA yesterday!
