Overland Donner

I have been researching this bag on ebags and a few other websites to take to my upcoming Disney Trip .....37 Days and Counting!!! I was wondering if anyone has this bag and if it is okay in size or to big! Any advise would help. I have 2 kids and my DH and myself and I know I will take more then I probably should into the parks....

I would like to know too. It is between the Overland and the Baggallini Messenger. I just can't deciced. Everyone should have such problems.

I bought the Baggallini messenger but I am not sure if I will like it or not for Disney. I have been using it it for 3 weeks now and it rubs a little around the neck area! But it is not a bad bag over all

I have the Overland Donner bag!!! I know that in pics it looks HUGE, but it is pretty normal sized...like a roomy purse. I was worried about the size when I saw the pic on the Overland website, but it's just perfect in my opinion. It's got a huge main compartment that holds my passporter, a pair of flip flops, two ponchos, a first aid kit, a shammie towel cereal bars...with room to spare...it's like Mary Poppins bag!!! The water bottle pockets on either side hold a 20oz bottle of soda or water and when the bottles are in the pockets they are almost totally hidden. It's GREAT! The front flap is a total organizer and it has a sun glasses pocket with a special backing that doesn't scratch lenses. It's got a zip pouch for money and pockets for room keys and park maps etc. I don't even take a wallet with me when I use it. It can be flopped into your lap on rides and you don't sweat to death like you do with backpacks.

The best part is that it comes in TONS of colors!! The printed interiors are usually light colored so things don't get lost in the "blackness". I really do like it a lot. I got mine on Ebags.com...cheapest place to buy it. I think it was $42.50 or something like that. It's very durable and well made. It could be an everyday purse if one was so inclined. When I was reading the reviews on it at ebags several of the reviewers had gotten them specifically for trips to WDW!! They all said it was a great bag for such excursions!!

Glad I could help! I really hope you like it. It may seem small on first sight, as compared to how it looked in pics online,but really it holds quite a bit but you don't end up looking like a pack mule...you look organized and very chic!

Oh man the PRESSURE!!!! I hope y'all like it!! I really do like mine...I think it looks very stylish...I mean it's not a Coach bag by any means, but for a Disney Trek it looks great!! I got the black with the White daisy print on the inside. Very sleek!!

I hope it suits!!! If not...please don't kill the messenger!!

These bags look great and I am thinking of purchasing one for our first ever trip to WDW in Sept. I have a quick question; if my family of four wants to ride an attraction together what can I do with the bag?

I will just hold it or keep it strap across my chest. Stick it under my feet with a strap around my leg so I don't leave it....

Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure if we were allowed to bring any articles on the attractions with us.

These bags really do look great and since I will be the packing mule for my family I think this will do the trick. Will just have to make sure I hold onto it for dear life!

Mine is to arrive on the 17th as well. We will have to compare notes. I too bought the Baggallini and are not thrilled with it. Hoping to like this one better. When are you going in Aug. Maybe I'll see you with out matching bags.

I've had my Donner for a couple of years now and still love it! I use it everytime we go to Disneyland. I once saw another person in line at the Peter Pan ride and we complimented each other on our bags, LOL!

BTW, for those of you with SBS umbrella strollers (we have the Maclaren Twin Traveller), the Donner's straps are long enough to hang on the handles. Not very many purses/diaper bags have straps long enough to be able to do that.

Yay!! I'm glad so many others like their Donner bags!! They really are great b/c you can bring a ton of stuff, but you don't LOOK like you are Packy the Pack Mule with water bottles hanging off your bag and the seams filled to bursting...you just look totally put together and in control and as people watch you walk by they say "Wow, doesn't she look totally in control of her life and her family...she doesn't look hot and sweaty AT ALL...just totally put together...what a GREAT bag she's carrying!!" Okay you may still sweat and your kids might still drive you nuts and you might FEEL like Packy the Pack Mule...but you will definitely LOOK cool!

bags are a massively important part of life...and definitely essential to Disneyworld!!!

Well I just received my bag today and I totally love it. It will work great for vacation and I think I will use it for all the time. Thanks for all of your help on here! I hope that you all enjoy yours. I like it much better than the baggalini

I too got my Overland today. I love it too!! I ordered the bagallini and I must agree the Overland is a nicer bag so tomorrow I will be shipping the Baggallini back.

Some reasons,
two water bottle pockets
I like the strap better. The cell phone strap was to bulky in front.
The bag look more put together.
Love the big zipper compartment.

I agree that it is much more organized and the strap is more comfortable. I am so glad that I now have a bag for the world.
