Overland Donner: YUCK!!

I just got my Overland Donner bag in from ebags. I was not very happy with the color selection available at any of the sites you can order from. I actually saw a chocolate and lilac one on one site but when I called to confirm that they had it in stock I was told that they no longer carried that one. So I ordered the chocolate and soma. The bag is great.....maybe a bit smaller than I was expecting but that was my fault for not checking the dementions. But the soma lining.......EWWWWWW. It looks brown and tan online but is actually brown and yellowish brown. It looks like the material for a really ugly pair of men's pants from the 70's. I paid almost $50.00 for a bag that I find really ugly so I will send it back. Unfortunately I may not have time to exchange it before we go. I may have to buy another one and then return the one I have separately. Grrrrrr......anyone else find the color selection on this bag really limited? Anyone have a nicer looking bag that has the organization of the Donner? Preferably a bit bigger?

I have the Donner in lime green...I also have the placer in the same color. Of all the color combos, I liked this one for Disney the best.

The bag really hold a lot of stuff, and I use caribeaner clips on the straps to carry other stuff I need really quickly - like my mini mister fan, etc.

I just got the Overland Donner bag in picante - it's a deep red with blackw/daisies lying - very cute and perfect Mickey colors.

Don't know if you looked at the website - Zappos.com. They had a large selection of colors. Are more expensive but someone else had mentioned that they will match the lower price if you found one. They also offer free overnite shipping!

Do NOT pay $50 for this bag. REI-outlet online site has it onsale for around $29. Zappos will price match exact items if you prefer to buy from them - they have really spreedy shipping.

I have the chocolate and blue floral and I love it! I think it's beautiful!

Just a few notes, there are a couple of colors that you can get on sale for $29 at the REI Outlet as mentioned above, but these are discontinued colors so you may have trouble price matching these.

Please also note, not every location will have every color available. The one I have is only available through REI.

As mentioned above, it may look small, but it holds a ton of stuff. I absolutely love mine!
