Overland Donner-- How does a resort mug fit?

Ok, so I am thinking after reading through some posts on this bag that I would like to purchase an Overland Donner bag. But I usually bring a backpack because I have "clunky" things I like to carry. One of those things is I like to carry my resort refillable mug. I know that I could leave it in the room, but I like enjoying my beverage on the way to the parks. Then I usually just rinse it out and put it in the backpack.

So is the Donner big enough to hold a resort mug inside? Is there any way the slimmer style would fit on the outside? (I'm guessing no because of the handle). Does anyone have any other tips about this that would be helpful?

It will definitely fit inside with room to spare, and I'm about sure it won't fit outside in the side pockets. :)

I usually get a carabiner clip and clip my mug on the bag.

The legend of the Overland Donnar even extends to Scotland, mine arrived yesterday and I am very happy with it (just as well as it would be very expensive to return to the US:lmao:)

This board is costing me (or DH) $$$$. I've bought bags, gift baskets, various character meals, wishes & illuminations cruises, paragliding and much more but I have enjoyed every day of the planning process. What did we ever do without the internet?

Thanks

I also like enjoying my beverage on the way to the parks. This year, I bought some disposable coffee cups w/lids (picked up a pack at the grocery store - Dixie brand I think, they're in the suitcase already). This way I can just use and toss. We usually tote too much stuff around the parks anyway so this will help eliminate some of that.

It could fit inside, but not on the outside (because of the handle). It would take up a lot of your space, though.
