Overhead a funny conversation today!

I was standing at the cashier's line in Kohl's today behind two older women - they were probably in their early 80's. Here is the conversation I heard:

Older lady #1: Why didn't you buy that nightie for Williard?

Older lady #2: Why would Williard like it? He has macular degeneration anyway and wouldn't even be able to see it.

Older lady #1: Well he can always feel his way, can't he?
