I have always gotten so much useful info on here for all our trips, and now I have a question to all the Dis pros. We are trying to book a Disney cruise and tack on a few days at the Fort afterwards, can we leave our RV in the overflow lot prior to embarkation of cruise??:confused3

The Outpost (front desk) told me it was OK if we were staying at the FORT pre/post cruise, not sure about just pre.

I wouldn't bet the RV on it, and the pros have been ridden out of town on a rail so i suggest you talk to, and get written permission, from Fort mgmt before trying anything like this.

With all due respect, even though some of the pros have been banned by these boards due to their own actions; there are still alot of pros here that have information to pass along. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

However, I do agree with your suggestion to get written permission or atleast a parking pass from the front desk before just leaving your RV. I don't think it should be a problem.

when we were there this last time, someone was leaving a class A (their parents) in the overflow. they had used it for their camping and their folks were flying in to pick it up. i don't know if the folks were going to camp there before leaving or just picking it up. i know the rig was out there longer than a day (i can't remember exactly how long it was there).

No matter if you are a self appointed pro or have been camping at the for twenty years and decide to start posting you will still get different answers so in some cases best to call The Fort in some cases and even then you might get different answers too. Good luck and enjoy your vacation.

As you can see none of the old pros or new posters have any knowledge on this. When in doubt about anything ALWAYS contact the powers that be. And as Shan says, get it in writing. Enjoy the cruise and unwind at the Fort.
